Fremont Search and Rescue
Fremont Search and Rescue is 501(c)3 non-profit all-volunteer organization that is dispatched through the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office. We are available for search and rescue operations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and we NEVER charge for our services.
Each newly assigned team member is required to be trained in meet the requirements focusing on the skills and training necessary for new team members to safely and effectively operate as rescuers during SAR operations. Specialized and advanced training is held monthly during the course of the year. The team holds monthly training throughout the year in addition to performing operational SAR missions.
All personnel are trained to operate as part of the Ground Search Team. Within the team there are Technical Ropes Team, Swift Water Rescue Team, Dog Search Team and Alpine Team.
